The manual shifter is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long, sticking a chopstick in a bwl of rice. Otherwise the interior looks very improved than the current Yaris.

well always that way in EU BUT, here is whats new:
- 95% of models will have Entune (Toyota Touch in Europe).
- Half leather seats
- Dualzone climate (it was single zone auto before)
- Seat warmers (including back unlike in my ex-GS350 :P).
- Bluetooth phone controls
I am sure NA wont get half of these, but thats because americans are not prepared to pay for 22k Yaris :-)

I like the new edgy styling of the new Yaris...but I have a feeling we're going to get jipped again in North America. Europe's head units are sourced through Aisin Europe.
The Yaris gets Touch & Go! Google mapping and apps....uh oh... I have a feeling we're going to get jipped. This is more advanced than anything in the Lexus lineup...even the new Toyota Entune thats not even out yet!

Toyota officially in their press release said that Entune is upgradeable via smartphone so that it won't get outdated. That also means the capability is there to upgrade apps, or add more apps. How do you know Toyota won't add more apps in the future to Entune? These are just the initial apps Entune will start with, according to Toyota themselves.

but even in Europe, Touch and Go is now available for Verso-S however nav module and apps are NOT available yet.
Another thing to note is low res interface with basic Touch and Go while one with factory nav (more expensive) gets a lot nicer screen.
But then again, if it is going to be in 95% of Yaris models you cant expect some LED HD LCD.
