Cars twith features that you dislike?
Surely there are some features out there, Available on all kinds of cars that you dislike...What are they?
Take me for instance, Features that can be on cars that I personally don't like are...
1) Front Wheel Drive.
2) Rear Drum brakes.
3) Hand cranked windows.
4) Cornering lights.
What's yours?

I could really do without cruise control. Have never used it with all the city driving I do.
But my main pet peeve is why car makers do not offer an option to switch off the km/h on the speedo. The gauge would look so much cleaner and less cluttered without both US and Euro markings. Hell, does anyone in the US use the km/h's when all our road signs are US standard?

I hate, more than anything in this world, the seat belt chimes. I don't need the car incessantly dinging because I knowingly am not wearing a seatbelt, and I certainly don't need the car dinging at my passengers and forcing me to say something to grown adults about putting their seatbelt on while we are driving 8 blocks in downtown traffic for lunch. I would seriously not buy a car if it could not be turned off. Lexus seems not to have them, so that works out just fine.

Makes sense to me to simply include this feature in a car that will be sold in North America. You never know when you might need it.

-TPMS
-Traction Control/ESP (that cant be turned completely off like in my truck)
-Drum Brakes
-Vehicles that shut off whatever headlight has the turn signal on (i think this is only Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, but not sure).
-Seat belt chimes (mine can be disabled)
-Steel wheels with hubcaps. Anything that costs over $10,000 should have REAL wheels. Sorry, but it is retarded to spend anything over $20,000 and not get wheels. JMO.

I really dislike low placed front end/GUI/navigation systems like the Lexus IS line. For example, if I need to adjust the AC, I can hit the climate button because I know where it is, but hitting the multipule settings requires me to take my eyes off from the road, albiet for a split second, and hit the button on the touch screen. I much prefer the placement in the BMW and various other higher positioned models where I can still see the road from my peripheral vision.
