I wouldn't necessarily use the term "idiot", but I agree that the Fit, despite its weird, insect-like front end styling, is probably a better dollar-for-dollar value.

I can't stand the Insight either. I don't know why, but I just don't like being in it. The Prius isn't TOO bad, it definitely has a more interesting dash and feels like a better place to spend your time, but the Insight just doesn't feel right at all to me.

The CR-Z on the other hand, is a great car to sit in. It just sucks that it isn't that sporty, isn't that utilitarian, and gets not-that-good of mileage.

No. HoMoCo tried to get on the bandwagon too fast. Unfortunately, it is unable to compete with the Prius.

Honda, though, has the compact-sized Civic Hybrid to move up to if one doesn't like the Insight.

Nothing will save the Honda Insight. It is a doomed model, that will continue to fail until Honda changes its ignorant, stubborn ways.
