No you are dead wrong, the only reason Ferrai made production car's was to raise capital for Enzo's racing team's. He hated the idea of a luxury sports car.

I actually like it, including the dvd player in the back seat.

I can picture it now - for the super rich. Rich mom pushing a 150mph at the autobahn, while her kids watch Harry Potter.

It's growing on me. Still not my first choice in their lineup tho. I like that shade of blue on the FF

I like the body, but I wish they adopted back the OLD style Ferrari fronts, ala this style:

I would take that form over any of the modern ones.

I, too, liked the older styling of the Ferraris. The FF would look even more off with a hatch and an even more elongated hood. The green looks really good. Never really pictured a Ferrari in green, but I like it!

the 4wd system though is ingenius

the nav, not so much:

The least impressive aspect of the car is probably the navigation system, which stands out in an otherwise well-trimmed interior because it's the same one found in our departed Dodge Ram 1500 long-term test truck. Sure, it brings Bluetooth streaming and iPod compatibility to the party, but the parts-bin nature of the thing is off-putting and it frequently lost its way, and ours, in the Dolomites.

you are 100% correct. I am a Ferrari history buff. Enzo was a hardcore racer and only made street versions of his early cars to fund his racing team

I'd rather drive a Hyundai.

Really.

It's that hideous looking.

Default Rendered Lamborghini Estoque wagon: The ultimate fantasy?

Just for kicks:

Rendered Lamborghini Estoque wagon: The ultimate fantasy?

Ferrari and Lamborghini have been locked in a brass-knuckle battle ever since one man insulted the other over a clutch. Since then, the companies have matched each other move-for-move, so it's natural to expect a Lamborghini response to just-debuted Ferrari FF. Car and Driver has gone ahead and imagined what a Lamborghini Estoque might look like with a roof stretched all the way back.

Lamborghini itself hasn't even decided to put the four-door Estoque into production, let alone entertaining a shooting brake flight of fancy. That said, Ferrari's willingness to flip the script with the FF makes enthusiasts hopeful that there will be an answer. Wagons may be the car fan equivalent of an underground band, but the tongues of the mainstream will be wagging at warp speed when Lamborghini introduces its FF competitor, no matter what it looks like.

I gree that Lamborghini was born because Ferrucio was upset with the quality of Enzo's products and service but I don't think they have matched each other move-for-move. Ferrari has always had several cars in production at any given moment. Currently, there is the Enzo, 599, California, 458 and 612....which is being replaced by the homely FF. An argument can be made to add 2 more models, the Maserati's because they have Ferrari engines.
For many years, Lambo had one car at a time but currently has 2. The Murcielago and Gallardo.
I don't call that matching each other move-for-move.
I'd bet the farm the Estoque never happens. It's just something to stir up some chatter.
