Well, IMO, Ford is currently the best looking mainstream (non-luxury) lineup along with GM, and Hyundai. I can't believe it. These 3 companies used to be among the worst designs, now they are the best.
Toyota remains uninspired and sometimes boring, but at least not ugly.
Honda has completely lost their minds.
Mazda's smiley face grill's gotta go.
Nissan is just getting weird in some areas, in others not too bad.
Chrysler/Dodge's are good but not great, kinda generic lately.
Subaru's are hit and miss, but mostly unappealing from a styling standpoint.
VW makes really clean and sophisticated designs but are all too similar even with Audi. Almost too plain and simple in a way as well.

I can tell only from Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo - nothing special on the outside (but good), and in the inside it is rather cheap materials, lots of shiny aluminium colored plastics and front seat room like in a truck which i dont like at all.
but imho of course and very very subjective

I'm talking about Fusion, Taurus, Exployer, Edge, as well as the Fiesta and Focus.

facelifted mondeo with titanium package looks very much like smaller taurus... fusion is significantly uglier than Mondeo.
