Great pix. Thanks for sharing. The 2011 Corolla looks so plain to me. Toyota really needs to step it up since other companies are really starting to inject more style for their A to B compacts.

Man, the LA Auto Show puts the SF Auto Show to shame. The SF Lexus booth was nice but nothing compare to LA.

the corolla looks hawt (not). granted it's not supposed to be hot, but it looks plain and cheap.

the gray LFA on the other hand, is off the charts beautiful!

tacked on plastic trim on LS and IS (?) - fail.

All these constant complaints about the Corolla's so-called "plain" styling....just on and on and on............

I recognize that people are entitled to their opinions. But, the fact is, one simply cannot argue with this car's success. The Corolla and VW Beetle have outsold every other production car in history, "plain" styling or not. So much for the idea that styling "has" to change, "evolve" with the times, or look like an aero-bullet.

mcdonalds sells more burgers and budweiser more beer than anyone too, but that doesn't mean they're great products, but yes, it appeals to a large market.

Anyone here get the free flexible mechanic lights from the Dodge area? Just answered some survey questions from the clipboard ladies and they gave them out.

Yeah, SF Auto Show is not one of the big players like Detroit, Chicago, NY or LA for that matter. So yes it does suck LA Auto Show got moved to the same time slot as SF Auto Show since all the goodies are mainly going to the bigger shows.

Yeah I agree with you. I'm not happy they got rid of the XRS model.

The Toyota Corolla is a great product. If that wasn't the case, other manufacturers wouldn't use it as a benchmark for all these years. Sure Hyundai, Mazda, Ford have upped the ante but I have optimism that Toyota will not let their best selling car in the world fail. Think long term, not short term fad status like the others.

I sat in it several times. When it was flat black, Starfire and recently as Smoky Granite at SEMA before it went to the Monticello event in NY. I drove it at Homestead-Miami last year (w/the late Naruse-san, Scott Pruett and jruhi4) when it was originally Flat Black.
