I agree but i still want to watch it. Tanners agent must be the most intense guy ever cause he is basically on 3 Show's now.
Still like it but they cant compete with Geremy, The Hamster and James. this is there show if top gear is in the US they need to Change up the dynamics but still do the cool extra stuff like the real show.
What is the Home Track?
And i bet you 1000$ Tanners the Freakin Stig as well

Yeah, really cheap. OK, I'm an Anglophile, but this sad attempt at "Americanizing" the quintessential British auto show is wrongheaded from the start. If they are going to succeed, they have to get some genuinely funny presenters and send them off on a trans-continental holiday for a week or two to develop a relationship. The current crop seem to be rejects from the Saturday morning "Power Block".
Maybe we can get Canada to loan us Red Green and the members of the Possum Lodge.

I actually enjoyed the 2nd episode way more than the first. So far I just find Wood annoying. I try to watch American car shows on tv, but there is nothing anymore. It's refreshing to see Top Gear US compared to shows like Power Block or Horsepower TV. I want me some action!
Top Gear UK fanboys need to stop comparing it to the UK version as it is quite unfair. A new show always needs some time to vamp up. I'm sure if they introduced this show as another name and remove Stig, people would think differently. As others have mentioned, if you want to compare the UK vs US versions, start with Season 1 of Top Gear UK.

Finally saw an episode last night for the first time...very disappointed. I never expected them to be as entertaining as the TGUK crew and I can certainly cut them some slack for the show being in it's first few episodes, but I'm surprised by just how little personality these guys have. Tanner Foust is the only one with a trace of character. The heavier set guy with the beard seems very shy and at a loss for words quite frequently. The other one with the mole....really doesn't seem to have a purpose.
We need more jokes, more charisma, more fun, more personality, and more chemistry.

ARRGGGGGHHH please cancel this show, it's horrible..
I don't understand why they didn't just try and make a descent car show instead of trying to copy the exact format of the UK version, knowing it wouldn't compare..

you guys do realize the writer for the uk version also writes for the usa version? imo, it will take time for the hosts to develop some chemistry just like it did when top gear uk started up again.
