It looks legit, although, this model is certainly not a collectors item. It is a bare bones strippy with a manual transmission and manual windows. It's about as undesirable as a Camry gets. An XLE/SE V6 Coupe would have been the ticket.

This low mileage stripped Camry is going to sell for over $10K!

Camry coupes are definitely a rare find. They were only offered from 94 to 96 both in 5S-FE 2.2L I4 and 1MZ-FE 3.0L V6. Manual was only available for the 4cyl version because of the whole implementation of OBDII and emissions issues. All of the coupes were offered in DX, LE and SE trim only and made exclusively at the TMMK Georgetown, Kentucky plant.

4cyl: DX, LE
6cyl: LE, SE

According to Auto Check, that car went 24 miles in 15 years.
That car will have some mechanical issues.

I'm actually not surprised by the bids.

This is a one of a kind car. regardless of it being a base common Joe Camry.

If kept this way for another 30 years, it will undoubtedly be worth money as a collectible. I don't think it is being bought to be a daily driver.

I would buy it if I were rich. It's pretty clean.

Low miles yay. Its still a 16 year old Camry. Wonder whoever buys it will swap out the manual tranny.

You guys are seriously getting this excited over a 17 year old 4 cylinder Camry?

Even if it does have a manual and 2 fewer doors than normal, it's still an old Camry with a 4 cylinder.

Why not? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone has to have the same sentiment.

I'm not saying I don't see how it's possible that people wouldn't find it cool to look at. I'm just surprised that so many people think the car is desirable enough to want to buy it. I think the novelty would wear off really quickly.

Plus,it's a no option car with no collectible value.

But it's an awesome car, one of the best Toyota ever made. Highly desirable if you ask me.
