Not worth remembering (even if I'm old enough to remember), since those ancient accomplishments mean little today.

Exactly the point, most of those accomplishments are ancient by industry standards today (year 2010) and the more recent ones have not been proven to be ecomically viable/profitable. Not good signs of a progressive company delivering latest automotive technlogy today.

As I said earlier, the competition is delivering the new and proven technology now.

And now back to the electric stool. Maybe they will include one in the spare tire well for emergencies, that would be a first.
