If the Honda Accord's headlights are safe for the peds, the revised Highlander should be just fine.
As a previous owner of a 2003 Highlander, I have tears in my eyes to finally witness Toyota put split third row seats in the Highlander. It has long be my biggest gripe for HL and eventually I replaced it with a CX-9 last year. But me too don't get it why V6 has a 5-speed manual shifting but V4 has a 6-speed?

Great update, I like it. Hybrid front end looks a bit weird, but still okay. Interior also got some minor updates as well. Standard split third row is an excellent idea, Toyota listened to owners and consumers.
Also good to see they differentiated the hybrid from the RX hybrid. A bit lower power and slightly less mileage. I bet next-gen Highlander hybrid will improve mileage-wise. Highway mpg is equal to AWD RX450h, only city number is 2 mpg less.
The Highlander Limited looks really classy now, IMHO arguably the most elegant midsize SUV, along with the 2011 Ford Edge.

The Accord's headlight is much larger in size though. The Highlander's headlight is slimmer and smaller.
