My friends dad got a new XJ this past summer. It's spectacular inside and out

I've had my '11 XJL for 2 years now and I've not had any major issues with it. Only thing some others might consider "major" is that I had the airbag warning light come on intermittently a couple times then go away. Turned out to be an electrical fault in the warning light itself rather than a problem with the airbag. But they can't just replace the light - they had to replace the entire digital dash display. Covered under warranty and no hassles whatsoever.

I have to say that the service level that I've gotten from my Jaguar dealer is light-years ahead of what I ever got from Tustin and Newport Lexus too.

Nice write up. The XJ looks spectacular. One of guys at my gym has a XJL that's sick.
I would have serious problem picking between one and a new S class.

After what I've been through with my current GS350 ill never buy another Lexus. I was planning on buying a new GS until my engine blew and I was out of pocket over $3,700 and without a car for 6 weeks and the initial politeness from Lexus turned into the usual lack of communication, arrogance and calls not returned for weeks.

We've also replaced 2 other Lexus vehicles in the family with a Grand Cherokee Overland Summit and an Audi Q7 TDI in the past couple of months.
