He still get's 40 mpg too! J/K

Yeah, it's pretty sick. He's one of the main members over at YarisWorld.

He's also a vender for Yaris accessories and other small car parts over at

I like power, but it's really not what the Yaris is meant to be (obviously).

We buy these cars to get 40 mpg, and to run dirt cheap. This guy did do a hell of a job though. It's still cool to see projects such as this even though it seems a bit silly.

I have very fond memories of the Starlet GT turbo, so I refuse to say that "it's bought to get 40mpg and run cheap". Sure, run cheap, mod cheap, quick and nimble. Not to mention in Japan there is a one make series dedicated to the vitz and the tuning base is huge.

I admire the work done on this, really awesome stuff.... but I think it's excessive for a fwd car. Say 200bhp on stock internals would be golden?

Car should be faster then 12.8 on slicks. Isn't that car light.

Must have been overseas. Though I may be wrong, I don't remember the Starlet turbo being marketed in the U.S., but the non-turbo versions were. The RWD Starlet sales, though, at the time, were somewhat overshadowed by the FWD Toyota Tercel.

Chrysler though, about this time, did market the tiny, Mitsubuishi-designed Plymouth Champ and Dodge Colt turbos, which were cheap and a hoot to drive.

i call bull**** to the 357whp claim....with that kind of hp, in that light of car, those trap speeds should be A LOT faster, even if he can't hook up at the line. Right now, its probably running around 200whp most....impressive, but not 357whp impressive...

hi guys, that's my car, just thought I would introduce myself. Thanks for the compliments.

The car runs that power on 91 pump gas, thanks to water/meth injection.

So far, my best 1/4 is 12.8 with a 1.7 60', but the car easily has high 11's in it. I need to practice, obviously.

With a KAAZ LSD and a very stiff suspension (8k front, 10k rear) the car has almost no torque steer at all and the cornering is slightlly biased to the rear.

I drive the car daily on the street. It's a lot of fun. If you have any questions, ask away.

ST430, dyno charts to prove it - sorry pal.

ok one more post... (you can diss my driving, but please not the car, LOL).

I'm not done yet either, I think we can make 400+ with a few more tweaks:

14 psi and 24 psi

I think you'll find agreement that Bisimoto is a respected tuner and wouldn't fudge results.
