Thank GOD it wasn't a V8 under the hood. I was thinking bastardized implant. I much rather see that Prelude motor under there. Over all now it looks like a pretty sweetly modded car. With a manual trans in there too? I wouldn't mind driving this car as a daily
How did she manage to get the car back after 3 years, I thought insurance paid out after 30 days
Yeah, that's some good police work on the tracing, especially considering that the VIN was scratched off. There are other ways of checking a car's ID without a VIN, such as the info on the date/plant-of-manufacture plate on the drivers' door jamb and under the hood, but it is more difficult and less accurate.
It's a shame they didn't get the person who actually stole it (assuming it wasn't the "owner" who actually pimped it).....he or she could use a stiff jail term. But, in general, the chances of actually catching car thieves, especially in a place like NYC, are not good.
"I'm Jewish," Pogany said, "and I don't even know how to drive a stick shift!"
Excuse me? I don't see how being Jewish confines one to a two-pedal car.
