Default Do You Modify

Lexus Magazine has a new article out that features modified Lexus models. What do you think of the cars they choose to highlight or do you think you can top these models?

most are ugly or totally overdone, including the ISFs that now look like a teen agers IS250. To each his own, but this is not my flavor

I've seen much nicer modded Lexus cars on CL. I do remember the sharpie IS.

Thanks for the input! Would you like to see more articles like this featured in Lexus Magazine? Anyone have a modified vehicle they think can top the ones in the article?

here's a thought.

the cars in the link above (the current feature cars), some of them are nice, but a lot of them are to the extreme. not necessarily a bad thing, but i am sure a lot of people aren't ready for that neither

it would be good to explore some sections for mildly modified cars, something that looks more executive looking. they are a lot easier on the eyes, and sometimes you can attract more crowd (lexus owners) who will think "umm, so with a set of wheels and lowering my car can look like that?" they can feel more connected and involved.

right now, they either think "wow it's different and special" or "omg, that's too much" but that's where it ends. with lexus magazine, you want to connect with current owners, which is a much bigger "normal" crowd

my 2 cents

Good thoughts, I see it that way too.

Many CL members have tastefully modded cars that are actually drivable (meaning the upgrades result in a decent or enhanced ride/handling combo).

lol yeah i need to plug for myself j/k

but yeah, to me when it comes to marketing you will need to look carefully at the target audience, otherwise you might not get the kind of response you looking for

Allot of rice in that bowl. You could easily find 10 cars on CL that are actually tastefully modded. I dint mind the Black on black black black IS-F
