My mom had one of those - a 1984 LE in brown.

The passenger front had a peculiar 'long spot' where you could stretch out your left leg without ever really touching the floorboard.

It was an amazingly luxurious car at the time to me and our first Japanese car, replacing a wrecked 1976 Pontiac Ventura.
