Seriously considering on buying a H2

Sadly I have hardly any knowledge on the H2....but I have seen them painted/wrapped for Business multiple times. Its popular for it.
Funny but Lexus messed up and had it rated at 4998 lbs in 2004 or so which meant you could not write it up. They added some more carpet or whatever and it got to the 5000 minimum.
The Armada is like a GM vehicle from the 1980s. Its horrid with its main positive the powertrain.

The "Full Fat" Range Rover (like mine - aka: FFRR) is the true RR. The Range Rover Sport is actually a Discovery on the inside in Range style clothing. Not many people seem to know this and this isn't something the dealerships are going to tell you; when you ask the people who are on about how unreliable their Range Rover is, it almost always turns out to be a Sport. Basically, it's a much cheaper Rover that's trying to be a big deal by having all the luxuries the Full Fat does but on a budget; this tends to amount to things malfunctioning.
The Defender OTOH ... that's a no nonsense LR right there.
The only point I have on the RR Sport is that it really isn't a RR.

They recently had a Defender vs UAZ on the Russian Top Gear. They scored equal, and both went through some serious challenges.
In the time that my friend had his H2, he didn't have any problems with it, we always took it out and never had any problems, although there were many frequent stops at the gas station
I like the thing, it is very spacious and people are always envious.

yup mechanically hummers are sound from what ive heard, build quality is crap, so expect alot of rattles, but if its gonna be for show and not off roading then I dont think your gonna have alot of problems with it, just make sure you get a used one that hasnt been abused alot
An old vendor friend bought an H2 for his wife. It spent more time on a tow truck than it did on the ground. I suspect this was a dealer issue rather than a problem with the vehicle itself. He traded it in six months - at another dealership - for an Explorer. Wife is very happy.
A customer rode in my RX and decided to give up the "pick-up truck image" for some more sophisticated transportation. He bought a Nissan Armada that was loaded with everything he could get on it. The only thing he didn't get was reliability. This thing had engine and power train issues for a year before he unloaded it. By that time two of his business partners had bought Armadas too, same problems. To be fair, all three of these guys came out of high-end Ford pickups, and drove a LOT of highway miles every year. They traded up when they realized in two years they'd never opened the tailgates. Posers!

thanks for the input guys.
But a RR is out of budget for me. I know a lot of foreign manufacturers make cars in the US (I believe Nissan is down to only 3 models being made in Japan).
I know the rattles and the interior of the H2 is crap. I just don't want major issues like the motor or tranny going out on one.
The Sequoia is a large vehicle but not boxy enough for it to be a "moving billboard" driving down the road.

i puke whenever i see H2. i really hate H2. it's the most disgusting thing in the whole world.
why do you want a negative attention?
what's worse than driving a H2 in the U.S commerical or non comercial? H2 in london. if you want anti-american treatment, drive a hummer in other countries. in the U.S, it's not as bad, but still H2 reminds me of ignorant americans who doesn't care about double parking. it is so wide that every time i see H2, it's sorta double parked. gosh i hate h2.
please don't buy H2 and save the world.
go buy a used land cruiser. or buy a sequoia. anything but h2.

Joe exit the thread you didn't read the first post.. Ranted on the H2... Then were told to look at the requirements and instead return with more rants and then make a political jab.
And please stop posting multiple times one after the other its manipulating your post count.
