Sad part is I drove one of those boats...

The stigma around wagons is dissapointing in that they are so practical and beatifully sculpted by BMW, Audi and MErcedes... Too bad the US market doesn't appreciate them.

I'd love to see an F10 M5 Touring. That or an RS6 Avant would be tons of fun and an easier sell to the wife. Plus you get to shock the shi te out of most cars on the road when a station wagon leaves them staring at tailights.

but that may have to do with me spending influential years in Australia, where wagons were just as common as SUVs.

That's nice!

I wish wagons would gain in popularity in the U.S. If their rate of depreciation would slow, and resale values improved, I'd consider one. Audi, BMW, MB, VW etc. make some nice wagons.
