I'm 23. In grad school. At least 3 years away from upgrading my Subaru to another Subaru.....I hate you and your success. I would choose that car if I could.
My girlfriend got hit today on that road and messed up her Civic...oh wait ex-gf (her decision) as of last night. So I didn't have to do anything.
First, I hope she is all right, and not injured.
Second, if so, now's your chance. If the Civic ends up totalled, she'll need something to replace it....maybe a new car. Help her find one, and maybe she will come back to you. Even if it's not totalled (and if the insurance company doesn't require certain shops), you can help her find a suitable shop that does good work....that may bring her back to you, too.
She is fine. I did offer to replace the bumper cover, etc. assuming there isn't too much damage underneath. Apparently she was clipped by a semi which drove away.
