Default Currently car shopping need some advice

So i have been look around for a car that fits me and so far i have these in mind:
Mazdaspeed 3
VW mk6 gti
suzuki kizashi
mini cooper s

anymore suggestions would be appreciated!

so what i need help on is currently i am looking at the new vw gti and from looking at the mk6 forums it seems like a hit or miss with reliability and that kind of turns me off from the car. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with VWs and their reliability

My second car im looking at is the mazdaspeed 3 : love the power hate the design lol hopefully if i do go with the mazdaspeed 3 i think i can get past the smiley face.

I feel sad that i will get rid of my lexus sc but it is time for to move up! also this car would be my daily driver

The Mini and VW, while not necessarily lemons, would probably not have the same kind of reliability that the Suzuki and Mazda would. VWs are especially weak in electrical reliability.

The Kizashi is a nice small car. Here's my recent CL review of it:

It doesn't have quite the power, though, that you will find on the Mazdaspeed3. But, unless you are a performance feak, the Kizashi would probably make a better daily driver.
Suzuki dealers don't sell a whole lot of cars, either, and you will probably get a good discount....if a Suzuki car dealership is nearby (they don't have the world's widest network)

yea the suzuki kizashi although isn't a high powered car it seems like a solid car when i saw it at the la car show. I just looked for a dealer and there is actually one really close by, 4 doors and a nice design seems like a better bet for me we'll see what happens thanks mmarshall
