Speeding Ticket Advice
Here's what you do:
1. Take a driver education course. A REAL classroom one, not those internet shortcuts.
2. Do some community service. Volunteer at the Red Cross or a Retirement home.
3. Talk to the prosecutor before court, show evidence of the above, ask for the leniency/mercy of the court/etc. See if you can get reduced points or fine or both.
4. Don't forget to wear a suit or something nice to court. Be courteous and address the judge as "sir" or "ma'am". Don't try to contradict or argue with the state trooper.

typically though, in pa that always works. ive had my fair share of tickets and i usually plead not guilty and show up for court. when i get there and they ask why i pleaded not guilty, i just say i have no problem paying the fine just dont want the points. points have been dropped every time for me.
Ask if you can take a drivers ed class. Especially, if this is your first offense. You may still pay the ticket and court cost but the ticket will not show on your record. I had not had a ticket in 3 years. I wore a suit pled guilty and the judge let me take a class. Note this was in Alabama.
Yes, it was, but you're learning. Be thankful it wasn't worse.
No one is persecuting you. You yourself said it was stupid to do (see above). Persecuting you means they're going after you for something else or nothing at all. Neither would be the case here. Stop acting as though someone had it in for you - it will do you no good in the long run, and if you go to court with that attitude, you will lose for sure.
Again, you're acting as if you did nothing wrong. Certainly speeding is a lesser crime than murder, but it's still a crime - especially at 22 over the limit! As I said before, the cop could have taken you to jail and made it worse. Count yourself lucky that he cut you that break, and go to court. Ask for mercy, bring up the points that you've been given as examples, and go from there.
And no, saying that the majority of your driving is taking kids to school or for extracurricular activities doesn't really work in your favor. Think of it this way - you should be an extra cautious driver then, shouldn't you? Or do you see having no chirrens in the car as an excuse to drive however you want to?

^ My bad, meant prosecute, not persecute haha and no, i understand i did something wrong, just wish i could get out of it, i know i won't be able to i just don't want any points on my license. I called today for a pre-trail conference to see when i could get one, but no one answered so i will call again later. I am willing to take any punishment, im just trying to avoid getting points on my license

Appreciate the help Big Mack, if you don't mind me asking, are you a lawyer, or someone who has just received a lot of tickets haha, cause you seem very well versed on the subject

NY sucks.. when i was in college.. heading back to Utica from NYC for school.. going about 79 on a 65... got pulled over on a small town... went to court and the DA told me to go into his office which was the restroom for the court.. told me he'll change it to a parking ticket and pay 110bucks in fees and i will be free to go..
but BigMacks advise is pretty good. try that first, if that doesn't work then hire a lawyer.. you're 17 and 6 points will really kill ya from the insurance...

Low and behold, the town prosecutor wasn't there today, so they are moving my court date back even further, they just keep dragging this on and on, small town thing i guess. I did not go, and will not end up going. I was talknig to the lawyer and he is pretty well connected with the small town court and told me not to worry, he said don't even come and he will take care of verytihng. At first i was worried bout him screwing me over, but after talking to him, he seems like a good guy

Small towns are COMPLETELY buddy buddy systems. If your lawyer has worked that town before/has connects you will be fine.
