I know a small percent of the drivers actually use the LX for off roading, but a sport bodykit? Really?! And an ugly one at that.
Fender flairs like the previous gen would have been a better option IMO.

Hold on, I didn't read the price, so "The 2010 LX 570 Sports starts at $149,500, and the LX 570 Sports Luxury at $165,400. Prices are Manufacturer’s List Price and do not include dealer-delivery and on-road costs." IS IT TRUE?
I thought regular LX570 starts at 77000???!!!!

I don't think anyone will have to worry about seeing that Sport package on US bound LX570. I sent a note to my direct sources and they confirmed it wont be packaged here due to low volume.

The LX does not do too well in Australia, that is why the sudden change. Toyota's huge seller is the Land Cruiser, Prado, Land Cruiser Troopie and pick up. Land Cruiser in Australia are very desirable vehicles. They sell well no matter what, even without the very good 5.7 litre engine..

What sells more in other places is the 4.5 liter D-4D turbodiesel engine which is indeed abundant in torque (for a Toyota diesel engine). Not to mention, where I'm from, only the 4.5 diesel variant is sold (if you want gasoline version, you have to import the Dubai/Middle East version through second-hand dealers)

AFAIK the 5.7 liter engine in your LC200 is only exclusive to Stateside.

@anyways
In most cases, SUVs here sell more when mated with diesel engines (as seen where more than 62% of Hyundai Santa Fe sold here locally are the 2.2 diesel 4x4 model whereas the 2.7 V6 gasoline/petrol version only captures 16%)
There are a few exceptions though here. The RX350 (new one) seems to sell quite well, so does the CX-7 2.5 liter and CX-9 3.7 liter V6. The LX570 sells 2-3 units per month so I guess it's not too bad either. Kinda lot of Mazda Tribute and Ford Escape as well (with 2.3 liter and 3.0 V6 petrol engines).
So in a nutshell, we aren't as dire as let's say in Europe (where diesel cars there are more of a requirement than a recommendation due to stricter emission laws, legislature, CO2 taxation, etc.)
