Need some Advice..
blew out my CV joint today in my 88 S10..and I'm at a crossroads. I need help evaluating my options however. Paid 1500 for the truck, threw another 1000 into the engine with a new distributor, ignition coil, alternator, plugs, plug wires, and some other crap. Threw some new 245/75/15s on it, and a new pitman arm and idler arm. The engine still has a nasty little tick to it and sometimes doesn't hold oil pressure. It's got a torsion key crank for the front for about 2 inches of lift.
Should I:
1. Scrap it, sell it, find something new with a solid front end
2. Put in more money and get a new CV joint/boot/and have it put in
3. Scrap the Independent front and find a Dana 30 from a Jeep and throw that in with a Spring over Axle conversion
OR any other ideas?
