The store is good but not that great.
It was a secret because my post is over a YEAR old. Back then, they didn't want that information to leak out...

Here's their address

Super AutoBacs
12645 Beach Blvd.
Stanton, CA 90680

Post Super Store

Went there today around 11. Didn't see any SC's in the lot. Parking wasn't bad at that time then it was around noon. I talked to Rj from RO_JA and hung out in the sun til noon. Didn't know it was media day. Japanese men in suits and me in my summer wear who knew? Anyway, you had to be from a company to get thru but I got in! Inside was heaven, especially the rims and suspension display area. Surprised that they had so many products. Like a one-stop shop for sure if you had $15k in your pocket. Price was slightly more than usual but nothing too outrageous IMO. Like {-.-} (Robert) said, you can get JDM parts on-hand w/out tryin to find it online then shipped overseas. I'm just excited it's here, and near me!

Globe: Where did you find the orange jacket?

did you notice the VIP mirror hanging things? I think it's some Shinto good luck charm, but I believe autocouture uses them on thier cars.

I wonder if a store like that would work in Europe?

France, and I think at least 2 other countries...there are over 500 stores total worldwide.

The big big one in Japan even has a movie theater in it!!!

i just got back, it wasnt all that great.
the size of the store is like twice the size of pepboys.
They shouldnt call it super autobacs. it should be called: autobacs.
In japan, super autobacs is the size of walmart, and sells used parts.
When i walked in, they said no camera =\
the prices are like 10%-30% more then what i can get.
They have mostly honda/acura parts in stock. We asked them for some parts for a friend's s13, but they said, try back in a few weeks haha.

I call it RipOffBacs.

I think the regular Autobacs sells the used parts. Prices are within reason, with the exception of performance parts (exact MSRP). The problem is everyone is used to dealing with *****d out pricing. It's not that Super Autobacs is a ripoff, they are selling at what market price should be.

I was impressed with the store, they have A LOT of parts & product lines in one place. I dont mind to pay a little bit more to save me time from driving 30mins to another store with a part i'm looking for.
