Buick Theta-Epsilon "Encore" and Delta II "Verano" Confirmed, Shown to Dealers
According to GM Inside News, Buick-GMC dealers have been shown the two upcoming models which have also been confirmed to be on the way in the next couple of years. Also, they report that the names Encore and Verano have recently been trademarked by Buick/GM.
So, what's coming?
Buick Verano*: a compact car built on the Delta II platform, designed and built from the ground up with the idea of it being a Buick: It is NOT a rebadged Astra; it is reportedly NOT a rebadged Cruze. It's also said to share styling with other Buicks and to look a lot like the recently released Epsilon II based LaCrosse. In Nrth America, it'll be the first small Buick since the N-Body Skylark and it will be replacing the Excelle in China.
Buick Encore*: a small ThetaEpsilon-based crossover, sharing its platform with the existing Cadillac SRX. It has been confirmed as being the clay model seen in the first commercial of GM's "May the Best Car Win" campaign, which Whitacre passed directly to the side of. And, just in case anyone was thinking that: it's NOT the short-lived rebadged Vue.
*Names Verano and Encore have NOT been confirmed, but are confirmed as trademarked by Buick as of May and June of 2009, respectively.

It better be a few cars with GTR type technology and hype upon release, They are still in pretty bad shape. I hope they will be able to dig themselves out
