BMW stock wheels including this wheel are either made by Borbet or BBS. Very strong high quality wheels on these cars. These wheels are not that difficult to come across as it is a very popular swap across the model range. I was never into putting non-model specific stock wheels on my cars but to each his own.

I prefer the wheels that were on the 540i sport

IMO the E39 was the best looking BMW ever. Every single element of the design was perfect.

The E60 is just no comparison, IMO.

If a nice M5 6MT falls into my price range in a few years I will have it. Done deal.

Lovely.

I am also a fan of the M parallel spoke wheels

How they could ruin such timeless design is beyond me. The E34 looks great with them too.

One of the reasons I did not purchase a 550i-at the very last minute I asked myself how hard I was trying to like the styling. This coupled with a few interior issues (iDrive mainly) killed the deal.
Did Bangle actually get fired or quit?

He quit but some say he was pushed out.

His protege continues his legacy though...adrian van hooydonk

Its like they figured out people will buy b/c of the grill and the hoffmeister kink so lets just go wild with everything else.

Yeah, saw a few of the new 5 series shots. Looking good so far.
Have to say, of all of the cars I have driven, only a BMW salesperson told me (over and over), "punch it around that corner, it will take it." I did not argue a bit.
That 550 has incredible balance and the aero kit did help out the rear end a bit.

Those wheels look amazing on the E39. Looks like an aftermarket upgrade!

That beautiful motor still lives in many supercars today. The
M6 wheels would be ideal for the tire shredding E39 M5. No engine swaps or suspension mods needed with this car.
