ok, so i'm not entirely alone with the sentiment that the car looks kinda weird...

seriously what's up with the lights.

looks great in profile, looks great from the back and the quarter views....and the front is just like a big butterface moment.

 

Saw this and cracked up. Cant say I am a fan of this new model. Looks like that old British Taxi.

 

didny like the headlight but its grown on me....need to go buy my lotto tickets today...

 

There is nothing wrong with this car. It seems a lot of people don't appreciate the art of taking a traditional item, and giving it an artistic and modern twist. On CL and most other forums it's always bashing on the entire design, or if the whole car is great, little tidbits. Sorry for this rant but it's just tiresome for me to enjoy this car when almost every single post is dumping on the headlights, ok, we got the idea, the LFA is too expensive.

 

I've seen better.

 

I like it's exterior design better than the Rolls Royce models

 

Not really feeling it about this car. I guess I'm not a Bentley person.

 

It looks much better in blue and with different wheels. I don't like the side lights but I don't hate them either. At the end of the day I would still drive the hell out of that car.

 

Bently coupes look better, IMO.

 

If you remember the concept-car Chrysler Imperal of just a few years ago, that is probably a closer comparison to a Rolls/Bentley than a 300.....though there is no question where the 300's grille came from.




Agreed......they look a little out of place, but, overall, the car is a refreshing (and, yes, beautiful) change from the typical cookie-cutter world today of aero/jelly-bean styling and humpback-whale rooflines.

 

I tend to like hood ornaments myself, but a lot of people prefer Bentley styling (coupe, convertible, or sedan) to that of Rolls-Royce because Bentleys have a more subdued grille and lack the ostentatious Flying Lady up front with her wings outstretched (recent Rolls-Royce vehicles have a standard power-operated retractor that lowers the ornament into a compartment in the grille to keep teen-agers and vandals from running off with it......a noted collector's item).
