Age is just a number, do whatever you think is right and makes you feel good. You only live once, so stop thinking about what others think. Moms, wives and women in general do not understand us sometimes, just like we don't understand the point of spending $200+ on face creams, handbags...ect

I can see myself still modding cars at the age of 50(+), although I'm sure my taste will be different then from the way it is now. Once you start modifying cars, it's really hard to leave it stock.

exactly! so next time i dropped $500 at the strip club, who is she to judge me
I've already said to myself that my current car is my modding toy and after this my next ride will be subtle. I don't think it's a "I'm getting old for this" attitude but more so I've been there & done that and not interested anymore. I will never knock anyone for modding there vehicle if there 40, 50, etc. Look at the guys on Horsepower TV on the Spike network. I saw them this past weekend modding a Mustang by installing an intake and exhaust system. I think it depends on what kind of modding you due to your vehicle when you reach your 40's and 50's. I don't think I'll be installing an underbody flashing neon light kit on my ride at that age.
