I think its hilarious that they are trying to sell that thing at what looks like a dealership. They better be waiting for a customer named Tom, who is a bit egocentric, and wants a prius with his name all over it because nobody knows who the hell Toms is. Bottom line is the tuner crowd is such a small percentage of the buying public nobody is going to want "TOMS" written all over their car in the US. Maybe in Japan they are big time but in the states normal buyers have no idea who they are.

Just think your parents may have heard of TRD but not TOMS. I like the kit and the wheels but the TOMS thing everywhere looks lame IMHO

Looks like a Model III with Navigation Package that the dealer modified with TOM'S parts. The original TOM'S uses a model with LED headlights (S Touring or G Touring or G Touring w/ Leather in Japan).

Also, I don't know what the situation in the US is but in UK, Toyota GB forbids any UK dealer to sell a Prius that is outfitted with larger rims if the car originally came with the 15" rims (17" rim models are ok).

is it really cost effective to buy these? what other Toyota does this car compare to? the Corolla? if so, how many miles do you have to drive to make up for the initial price of the Prius?

I'd have to say this is the absolute corniest name for an after market line I've ever heard of.
This Prius looks like its trying way to hard to be something it has no business being, simply because of what it stands for. If anything I think it would look better with just some really nice fitting aftermarket wheels and suspension and thats it.

Camry? It is a midsize after all (with compact exterior dimensions).

I don't know. Why don't you ask the guys how long it'll take to recoup the price of their GS430 vs. the GS300?

TOM's. If you don't know, then you don't know.

TOM's has done a beautiful job with every Lexus model they've designed parts for. Just look at this:

Always a complete package with well thought out upgrades, understated, classy, and darn near perfect.

I'd rock a TOM's Prius.
