I did read your responses. They are all well thought out, logical, interesting and even funny. You hate Acura...there is nothing wrong with that.
Yes a V8 is very late to the game but I never thought Acura competes with V8 models from other brands. Their v6 models do what they do well and that is what they are known for.
The Q45 didn't have a V8 and AWD.....the RL will. Even the Lexus LS, which far outsold the Q, was forced to add the AWD option for the latest generation.
I think you got the wrong car? Wasn't the Q45 Infiniti's luxury mobile back in the day?

Sorry, I mistook the way the AND was meant to be expressed. I didn't know you meant it in a fashion where both the options were existing simultaneously.
That lead me to believe for a second you were saying that the Q45 never came in a V8, which is what had me perplexed.
Do you know you can find them for UNDER 20 grand? One one hand I feel awful for people who bought it new and how it continues to put an awful stigma on the brand. On the other hand, that is a FABULOUS car to pick up for 20 grand. I mean superb! Thats less than a newer IS or G35 or 3 series etc.
I was seriously considering a used RL to replace my E-class once the lease was up to save some money, but wifey was convinced it's a safer bet to stay with a car that's been so reliable thus far then risky getting another used car. Plus MB offer another 9-10k off the Lease Purchase/Buyout Price that was initially in the paperwork due to economy (but the RL would still have been cheaper). I really think the interior of the RL is better than the GS (except the big silver button/**** that;s sticking out) but not the exterior. I think RL is a SUPER buy under 20k, best value in this class by far...

2. Where did you read that they will produce the V8. Better question is... When will they produce a V8?
Ok They're planning to produce a v8/v10 in 5/6 yrs (from one of 1sick links). I bet they still get criticized even after they produce v8/v10 with 6+ speed since it doesn't have RWD.
