Yep they will be sure to advertise that weight, without oil, windshield washer fluid, gas, valve stem caps, cigar lighter, etc.

Speaking of Q5s, I've been seeing them from afar lately and I've been mistaking them for A3s.

I can see the Audi/VW roots more than ever in that side profile.

yep, thats for sure... why the heck would you buy diesel porsche? sorry thats just funny. Autobild tested Q7 with V6 turbo diesel engine (240hp) against RC450h and cried a river on how much hybrid powertrain is better than that V6 diesel and there you want the diesel ;-)

I love the Cayanne and I hope VW doesn't pull the plug on it after this generation like I read in a magazine recently . I think my wife would love one when we have kids. Its an SUV with serious performance.....but ungodly fuel economy

Now that I look at it again I have to say it look so much more like the VW SUV. I think I like the older design a little more but I know with every generation come nice advancements. Perhaps a low mileage CPO would be nice.

Hehe slightly similar to the thread I made (on how I heavily-criticized the idea of diesel sports cars :P).

However, I'm kinda cool with a diesel Cayenne (I don't mind that much).

@anyways
Emphasis on improvements over the current model will revolve around engines/powertrains being more powerful, more torque yet more fuel-efficient and less emissions/pollutants. Also, an important emphasis is on weight reduction (and we are talking big cuts). With reports of the next-gen Audi Q7 taking some weight cuts, it's most likely that the next Cayenne (and its next-gen VW Touareg sibling) will do the same .

And you can expect PDK (dual clutch tranny) to be on it
