which, like rominl said, is why I was hoping the Q5 would have the presence but have it a little shorter, but the Q5 looks TINY on the road. Might as well opt for a Tiguan.

I love my Q7. except for the all the problems it has.

I thought the Q5 was quirky lookin.

at least it looks helluva lot better than the X3.

I liked it somewhat at the car show earlier this year.

But I have yet to see one on the road, while I've seen 5 GLK's on the road already.

I think so,

but the way the car looks on the road, it seems more acceptable for the Tiguan to be cutesy and small.

doesn't feel the same when the younger brother to the mighty Q7 is cutesy and small.

I think I read in C&D that it was based on A4.

That rig is very nice, im not an suv person even after owning a few that i hated. But i would park that in my garage and reconsider my views on suv's after a test drive of course.

No, they are two wholly different vehicles.

The Q5 is riding on the B8 architecture which underpins the A4 and A5.

The Tiguan is a built on the PQ46 Golf platform.
