Well its obvious, we have more skilled workers. I don't see a problem here.

 

Tremec makes the Camaro's gearbox in Mexico. If it's an automatic, it will say USA or Canada for transmission as GM makes those in house in Michigan, New York, or Ontario.

 

I was stunned to recently find out the CAddy SRX is made in Mexico.

 

Check out the April 2011 issue of Car & Driver. Pretty interesting diagram of North America and the list of vehicles made in Canada, US and Mexico. It lists the percent of American part content for each model. You'd be surprised how many "foreign" nameplates have more American content than domestic brands.

Toyota Sequoia - 80%

Ford Expedition - 50%

I personally had no idea so many non-American brands were assembled here.

Only Lexus I saw on the chart was the RX350 and that's assembled in Ontario.
