I was just scrolling through the channels today and noticed that my cable provider has added the BBC to the line up. I started looking at the programming and BOOM there it was TOP GEAR. This is the world famous automotive program that features the best cars in the world. Needless to say I called the cable company and added the channel ( and a few more ). I am not sure how many of you were aware that the BBC is available through your cable provider, but I was not and figured I would share the info in case some of you guys are TOP GEAR fans. Even if you have never heard of or seen this program, it easily worth the few extra dollars on your cable bill



I have included a list of the programs for just 2 seasons. Look at the cars on the list. Needless to say this is great news for gearheads after NBC pulled the plug on the US version of the show.

if you mean the episodes shown on BBC:America they aren't the same as the UK version, heavily edited, different music, and no star in a reasonably priced car. they've been out for a couple years now.

 

I don't know what BBC you get, but I watch it every Monday at around 5ish. They always have a star in a reasonably priced car except when they do the "best of 06-07" or something like their road trip in Africa.

I absolutely LOVE this show!

 

comcast has full blown top gear on bbc america i have made this observation by watching the torrent and a good 3 months later I see it on the biger screen.

 

I get the exact same ones as on finalgear.com via BBC America on my cable.

 

i see, i havent watched an episode on tb in many months so it may have changed.

i don't really watch them on tv, i have a hard drive full of almost every episode. man, i remember watching the 4th season when it was coming out (this is back when i started watching TG) waiting for a tortuously slow download to complete

 

I just got Rogers cable and find out I have BBC (channel 87)... Top Gear 5 days a week @ 10 pm!!!

 

you guys got a lot of catching up to do if it's only showing season 6.

Season 12 ended and Season 13 will be starting in the Summer...

 

I am excited . I have the DVR set to record 4 hours of the show today. I am actually going to get up now and watch them in my man cave,lol

I have to say the STIG is bad ***. I have seen this dude put it down in a Ferrari F430 Scuderia and a Koenegsigg CCX in the same day. This mother#$%^&* can drive. His driving skill reminds me of the boys from best motoring. I think the guys from Japan drive a cleaner line. every apex is hit. The STIG is calculated but brutal as well

I went out and got the 10 the season that is now being sold at Best Buy. I have to say that now that I have seen a good number of episodes, I have to say this show is very well produced and very well funded. I plan in buying all of the DVD's. These are way better that Best Motoring videos
