Good lord, a X6 and/or 5 Series GT competitor??

With that said, yes, it does look good, better than it's BMW counterparts but this is not what Acura needs nor, will it be a large volume seller.

Wow is it just me or does this scream Mazda CX7/CX9? At least it has LED tails/brakes (unlike the stupid all-light bulb setup of the RDX). The grille is much nicer than that chrome monstrosity of the '09 TL.

That said, what's the purpose of this SUV/CUV? I know that Acura wanted an X6 competitor but is this supposed to be the size of the MDX? I wonder what the specs are for this. It's nice to know that Acura is still capable of designing something that doesn't look like it came from the set of Transformers or something origami-based. (The smooth flowing lines of the '09 TSX doesn't count because they "stole" the design of the JDM/Euro-market Accord and that design was already in place.)

Those pics have been around awhile and I believe they are just artist impressions and not official pics. This new X6 fighting Acura CUV is utterly pointless and a complete waste to me. Acura should spend the money/effort on a large flagship sedan, sports car, lux/sport coupe, or NSX replacement then another silly SUV/CUV. It would be smart to just drop the RDX if this thing is coming out so they don't have 3 SUV/CUV with 2 being very similar.

Looks like a X6 without the bloated weight and bloated price tag. Infiiniti (EX35) should be concerned. BMW X6 is already approaching 0 sales volume.

I like it. Even though it still has that ugly grill, it somehow looks a lot better on this car. It looks as if you can actually do a few mods here and there to the grill and it would be fine. Still don't like the grill, but the rest of the car look good. Don't know why, but as I get older, I've been thinking about getting a more family car. Still don't like mini vans, don't really care for wagons, and not much of an SUV guy even though we did own one. These crossover car/suv type cars are starting to look better and better.

X6 wannabe...and that itself is sad really

what's wrong with the RDX that they need to build this monstrosity?

Dear Acura,

Do you want the good news or bad news first?

Well, I guess I'll start with the good news since y'all really don't have much to celebrate about these days...

Congratulations, you have created a better looking X6, you really showed those BMW boys about how it should be done.

Now comes the bad news...

You've created a better looking "perfectly pointless" vehicle while you should be saving the resource for a RWD platform or at least a RWD biased SH-AWD platform.

Your's truly,

ffpower

The buck tooth grill doesn't look so bad on this vehicle. I see a lot of BMW X6, with a little Chrysler Sebring from the back. Overall, I give it

I'm betting that this one's gonna have a million buttons on the center console like the rest of the other Hondas.

I don't think the car looks that great but that's a helluva lot easier to look at then their clown car for a TL.
