If it ever does make it to the US (probably under a diff. nameplate), the $60-70 range seems about right.

Keep in mind that the lower price would also reflect the US spec version missing some of the goodies in the KDM version (just like the Genesis).

Some beancounter figured that those in the market for the Equus in Korea (old fogies) don't like bold, aggressive styling (too bad).

The one on the right is the Hyundai?

Looks like they're finally ready to let loose some of their own designs.

dayum, hyundai is no joke. they should bring it over here and price it 50k-55k. should be bigger than S and 7 and needs at least 440hp.

definitely that's the new Equus. look at how similar it is to the concept drawing. basically the side will have that swooping lines, but less exaggerated for production. i can't wait till see some more pics.

Bring it over here, price it at $55k starting and give it a separate luxury division/network then Hyundai has a winner on its hand.

The Genesis was close to being Hyundai's LS400 but this Equus with the right price can truly be the LS400 of the 21st century.

It looks like customers will be able to choose from the multiple grille designs available.

Hyundai has an underdog vibe working for them. Bringing out a luxury brand would take that away and force them to price their cars higher.

God. Why does that just scream Toyota Crown?

Hyundai needs to create a better name for their luxury brand. Something that doesn't sound like it came out of a cracker-jack box.
