Are they sold in US?
I was trying to look for some seasons I am interested all I found was burnt ones in avi format.

Please direct me to the right place if you know of one.

 

They do not sell official Top Gear DVDs. This is because they use a lot of music in their spots that they didn't get the licenses for. They can air the show on BBC because it is on public TV but once they start selling the shows on DVD for money then they will need to get the licenses for every song they use.

just get a region free player. none of the players / computers in my home is region locked

Yep theres no Top Gear series on DVD just those Clarkson ones.
