No clue what these car makers are thinking. It gives me a greater appreciation for the CLS, seeing what other manufacturers are doing with "four door coupes."
In all fairness, I do like the VW Passat CC.

TO be honest its smart. Why? Basically they are taking an existing platform with the same engines and putting a slicker body on it, have marketing call it a coupe and people that don't read (I am j/k) buy them as coupes with a 20 grand mark up. Some people do want 4 doors and a sleeker style. IMO, the CLS still turns heads.
From a business standpoint its genius. Lexus should simply follow suit, take the GS platform and make a longer coupe or even a regular 2 door coupe out of it.
The CLS looks like pure genius now. I also do like the CC looks. This I am sure will be more of the same.
