In my defense, I am hardly the only one in here who dislikes Godzilla. It started when every GT-R owner I have ever met thinks they have the greatest and fastest car ever produced....fallowed by rumors on the web about transmission problems and halted production in Japan, fallowed by GT-R owners crying foul claiming the rumors are unfounded and claiming conjecture. Then Nissan going public regarding traction control issues, covering up the fact that the GT-R slushbox is built like paper-mache....fallowed by GT-R owners disapearing like cockroaches with the light turned on, instead of saving face and admitting that Nissan didn't handle themselves well and that there might be some validity to the rumors and cases of blowing trannys!

You ever wonder why every time you pull next to an exotic like a ferrari or lambo on the freeway they don't bother racing you....and you notice every time you pull up to a Supra or Skyline er GT-R they always want to race? GT-R owners suffer from short man's complex, constantly trying to prove themselves instead of just being confident and knowing they have a sweet car. Ferrari owners know they are driving an exotic.....GT-R owners know they are not!

 

Have you ever noticed when you pull up next to an IS-F and they want to race?


I could say the same exact thing about IS-F owners and your go F yourself quote in your sig.

 

No....I've seen many in LA and I've never seen a GT-R "racing" on the street and except for a couple Supras its the same deal.

 

Somebody's mad because the IS-F isn't as fast as a GT-R....

 

someone is mad they threw down 90K for a car they thought was an exotic killer that turned out to have a tissue paper slushbox

I'll take my low 12 passes and 4.2 0-60 performance all day knowing I am backed by the #1 ranked car in overall reliability. Gimmicks and shadow games is what you stroke!

 

So...what was your reasoning for bashing the GT-R again? Because it has a touchy transmission?
