Default GT500 Exhaust note question

This may be the wrong place to put this but If there are any GT500 knowledgeable people out there maybe you can answer this question.
Currently in GT500 the only SC's running are the 430s, which run a v8 motor. I've found a couple videos on Youtube of these cars Particularly the Petronas TOM's Team, Houzan SC430 team, and the ZENT team. My question how do they get the V8 motor to sound like a high revving 4 banger? And is it possible to do that to an SC4?

they get it to sound like a high revving 4 banger because of the engine modifications including cams and timing, as well as a straight pipe exhaust, and or course....they are high revving.

just cuz its a v8 doesnt mean it cant rev. i have an old indy motor that revved close to 10000rpm and the chevy small blocks can do 9000's all day too if built right. the strike on those is actually only a bit bigger then the 2jz.

Ah cool thanks so much for the insight. I knew they were in fact high revving motors. I just could never figure out how they got them to sound like that. I have to admit I love that sound. Even in my Subaru days I wasn't a very big fan of the boxer rumble. I always loved the EL header sound of the Spec C sti's and SWRT Subaru WRC cars. my driveway is still void of anything Lexus yet. I'm leaning more and more towards buying a 400. I like the V8 power, but hate the V8 sound.
