Curious why would you post here in the IS-F forums about a Benz? This will probably get moved to the Car Chat section. IMO don't get a Benz, that's it.

 

someone on here has friends. we are all frens and not looking to sell my F just looking for another ride. No harm by my post. just looking for others with frens with one.

 

According to what I have read and heard, the AMG black series is on par with the IS-F and C63 on the performance side (0-60, 1/4 mile) despite costing twice as much. It does however make up for its un "supercar" performance around the track where you are basically getting a street legal LeMans car. Great car, horrible reputation with quality and reliability. Benz is a sinking ship and losing credibility as we speak!

 

I'd disagree about the on par performance with the ISF and C63... I'd love to have one even though I've never driven one... At any rate he makes a point... if you want to skip it just go to the second vid to the last 25%

The black series is nothing like the IS-F or C63 are you kidding me? They're not even in the same category. Not only does it produce over 500hp it's completely track tuned in terms of suspension & interior and has a massive amount of weight reduction using magnesium and carbon fiber in various places throughout the vehicle. PM me, I work at Mercedes Benz of downtown LA. I can help you if you're truly interested, that car isn't allowed test drives btw

is-f doesn't hold a candle to the CLK Black series. CLK 63 AMG yes, Black series no.

My friend traded in his modded 996 GT3 for one, it looks sick for the first couple times. After that, its nothing special. I would get a porsche for the price.

 

A local tuning shop owner that I know has CLK Black along with an SLR. Beautiful vehicles in person..!!
