You must not have seen a 599 in person? Pics don't capture the extreme curves and design cues of this car. It looks nice in pics but in person it makes your eyes follow every curve. It's far from bland.
The 612 is more understated (I wouldn't call any F-car bland). It's still sexy but doesn't have the extreme curves and flares of the 599. When modded, it's really sweet, though.
Yes, I've seen a 599 in person. And yes, compared to other cars in its price range, I think the 599 is bland.....stock. FWIW, a majority of recent Ferrari's do nothing for me design wise. As I stated in the earlier post, this Novitec looks great. But of course it has wheels, kit and a drop.

I think they did get around to testing it against a Twin Turbo Gallardo which slaughtered it unfortunately. Unless, that was a different modded out Ferrari in one of their last issues?

Didn't that Gallardo have 1000hp? I used to be subscribed to MLE.
