Default Vid: 2010 BMW X3 off road testing IN DESERT

Here is a spy vid of what appears to be the 2010 BMW X3 being tested in the desert somewhere. This does not appear to be the X5 as there are front facia differences.. There are two large air intakes on the front facia which is a dead giveaway that this vehicle is packing the twin turbo N54 inline 6.

With Porshe's upcoming baby Cayenne, Audi's Q5, new Lexus RX, this segment is heating up..

Strange... kinda neat to see but nobody in their right mind is going to be doing that with an X3. The "SAV" is just the modern American station wagon with a tad bit more off-road capability that almost never gets used anyway.

I like jazz but that jazz sounded like it came off a 70s sitcom... I can't begin to imagine what the person was thinking when they picked it for that video.

If Porshe offers a smaller version of the Cayenne GTS (love the look with those staggered wheels) then I will have to head to that showroom myself.. This new X3 appears to be equipped with staggered wheels ala X5 sport pack, wider track, X5 profile & other bits in a smaller package.. Beautiful!
