you haven't heard of the ipod integration kit from toyota/lexus?

 

that's aftermarket.
it doesn't count. and it's still half broken in features

here they are referring to new straight from factory.

 

the kit is from toyota (i am not talking about vaistech), how is that aftermarket? that number says vehicles with ipod support, not standard from factory

 

Anyone have the link to the article. I would like to know how they classify the difference between support and integration. Integration for me is when I plug in my ipod and control the music through the deck, nothing else added. Support is what my Tahoe has, it's an exterior auxiliary input into the deck but I still have to control the music with the ipod, this sucks compared to true integration and should be distinguished.

Lexus does already have an "accessory" where you can control the iPod through the steering wheel and deck controls.

Now if only they could make the screen (on nav only of course) look like the actual iPod menu like Scion does....
