Yes,, the ES250 along with the LS400 are the 2 cars responsible for all of your other Lesus' being here in the states due to their sales success(more the LS400. LOL!!!) As Chrispy states,,"know ya roots.." This is indeed one of the very roots of Lexus here in the states.
I think ArmyofOne had one of these a couple of years ago. Looked like a pretty awesome car. If memory serves, the car got into a minor collision and he and his Dad repaired it. When Josh joined the Army, he let it go. Dad sold it to a guy who was looking for a good first car for his daughter.
Josh ought to be around in another week or so - he's training with his unit and out of touch with the world. Maybe he can illuminate this now-rare model when he gets back to the world.

The LS400 was an amazing car for its day. The ES250... not bad but it was pretty much the definition of shameless rebadges back then. If you took the Lexus emblems away and put Toyota badges on people would never have a clue, inside or out, that it wasn't just a well equipped Camry 2.5L V6.
