Default Bmw Mirror Needed
So some jerk decided to steal the passenger side side view mirror from our 2008 bmw X3. Does anyone have any websites that sell bmw parts at a discount? the dealer wants 350 bucks for the mirror alone!

thanks guys! looks like getbmwparts will be the best bet.
remember this is only for the mirror glass not the whole mirror assembly

This isn't as current as 2008 but goes up to 2006 if it hasn't changed

My wife uses this to get the part number before shopping around

I am not sure. The mirror assembly for the 06 & 08 X3's look similar on the outside, but the wiring harness may be different ala the tail lights for the Lexus gs400/gs430.. Your best bet is to order model year specific parts.

yep - 280 dollars later (@getbmwparts.com) and a special order from BMW, the mirror should be here in a couple of days...

what the hell... bmw parts are ridiculously cheap compared to lexus

I think my e46 m3 mirror glass was only 60 bucks each, now it's 280 for x3? are you freaking serious

i am not even joking.. they were saying because the auto-dimming fluid costs a grip, they charge a lot

Yeah, its the autodimming stuff that makes em expensive. For you guys that need BMW parts, just let me know, get me the last 7 digits of your VIN number and let me know the part you need and Ill get you a good price.

Coulda got you the mirror for 240 plus shipping, but I dont mean ebay shipping, I mean true shipping cost. 5-10 dollars, whatever UPS charges.
