Wonder what generation IS would the convertible be if that's true.
As I've said a few times before, looks like it's too late in the cycle to launch a current generation IS convertible/coupe . . .

I don't see ANY reliable info that the SC is done. I would never have bought the first gen SC. In my opinion it's so called classic lines made it look like Granny's car... Nothing special, unusual, standout or timeless there. Some people look back and think classic and I think last century, yawn.
When I saw the 2002 SC it definitely jumped out of the crowd and I have come to love its looks. It is definitely different and in my humble opinion - because it is so different - going to be classic.
Looking forward to see the revision.

No way...the 2SC is definately the old man car even if it's newer. The 1 SC looks the best compared to Lexus of the same year besides the 98+ GS

To each his own. I agree there will be a 3SC and it'll be the SC 460 and hopefully it'll rock...

It looks like the LF-A may be the successor, though it won't be coming soon. Sounds like a screamer though.

I just saw a slightly modified 1st gen SC that looked ammmmazing...amazing for a 2009 car not just a 1990's one. probably the best Lexus ever.

This cant come to a surprise to anyone. The SC is a very very low volume seller

The SC line is done. It was once a good seller for Lexus but its time has passed. The economy and Toyota's need to become profitable has dictated this...not the current owners.

SC line up---R.I.P.

LF-A will never be the successor of the SC. Completely different target market.
The SC has always been a luxury cruising coupe.
The LF-A has a high reving V10 with carbon fiber all over. That car begs to be driven on a track. If you tried to track a stock SC (1st or 2nd gen) you'd have a hard time doing anything but float around corners.
