Default 2002-2003 audi a4?

I've been browsing cars to replace my sc400 (if i decide too) and i really love the style design of the B6 a4. The variant i'd probably go for would be a 1.8t fwd and add an apr program. I was really excited thinking about the prospect, but then browsing the net there seem to be alot of reliability. Part of the point of getting a newer car addresses that factor. Common problems i've soo far noticed are coilpacks (not too big of a deal), valve cover leaking( not enough to turn me away either), but also major electrical problems with instrument gauges. Anyone here have first hand experience with this car? It would really fit with what i'd like, but if its a constant money pit then it won't do. If my 16yo car would be more reliable than this 6yo car i'd just keep the lexus a little longer.

I have first hand experience with this car. To preface, mine was modded up. Stage 1+ revo flash, intercooler, exhaust, suspension, brakes, cosmetic enhancemets, 19"'s. About $7K total.

I have had a bajillion problems with this car, including this last one: turbo blew the day after I sold it. I sold it to a very nice friendly couple, friend of a friend so I'm paying to fix the turbo for a car I don't own. ---No comments please.

List of thing that went wrong in two years:
2--count them 2 turbos in 52K
abs module
wiper motor
15 coil packs
rattle in dash
wheel bearings
brake pads
peeling stereo buttons
more.

All covered under warranty except the last turbo, which is nearing $1500.
Don't forget the engine sludge problem that has been arising, but Audi is replacing engines for free.

Question: Would I buy one again? Yes.

Just loved the car. Styling, awd, handling. Great car but unreliable. then again, I have terrible luck with cars.
