I hope they dont make a coupe or hatch. Nothing wrong with having the IS as a sedan anyway. Thats what the S in IS stands for.

Actually the IS stands for Intelligent Sport.

I want to see the SICK roof of the LF-C concept on the IS cc. Anything less is unacceptable.

And let's see the IS F hardtop coupe soon thereafter.

Hatch puts me in mind too much of the VW GTIMKV 3 door. Just a totally wrong look for Lexus. Coupe could be a winner, need to see more on it tho.

I just don't see any of these variants happening this late in the second-gen
IS life cycle. Isn't it due for a body style change in two years?

Also, Lexus does not need a sporty three-door hatchback. Frankly, I don't
see them ever building one. And, as for a wagon, I would think that the
dismal sales of the first-gen IS Sportcross might have the Lexus beancounters
scared out of their minds.

They do need a coupe and a cab variant, but they should just wait for the
3rd gen IS platform, especially given the current state of the US economy.
My guess is that North America would sell a large portion of the coupe/cab
variant, and car sales are not exactly strong right now...

The IS coupe/conv has been put off AGAIN and should arrive in approximately 15 months.

At this point, they should just wait until the next generation.
