This article could have been a lot less confusing if they had simply said that, yes, they're making an RX8 replacement and, no, they're not sure if it's going to be called RX8 or RX7.

I dont know if I would go as far as saying prelude and legend are in the same ranks as the supra, rx7, and nsx. If that were the case how about the celica, mr2, 240sx, etc?

Agreed, I also liked the last RX7, just a wonderful machine.

why haven't they given up, has there ever been an RX7 that hasn't been unreliable, even the RX8 had to have every engine recalled right? I just don't see anyone wanting to deal with the headaches of a rotary, heck I'd take a pushrod motor over a rotary (eww).
