The stock rims are hubcentric and do not require rings.. Did you go to the tire place I told you about?
Nope, never had a chance. I'll probably go there this weekend, and a carwash. Damn, I havent washed my cars since around land summer lol, they are filthy.

lol.. Trust me, after you get your tires balanced at this place in BK, vibrations will be a thing of the past

Well, I hope so. See, what happened is, when I bought the GS in 2005, I immediately replaced the 17" stock chromies with a brand new set of stock 17" for a 3GS. Obviously I put a set of new tires as well. It was riding nicely, until last summer I took it to a repair shop to replace brake pad and resurface the rotors. After I picked it up, it was vibrating like crazy, so I took it back to the shop thinking they did something wrong. Turned out they rotated my tires front front to back, and rear tires were out of balance. I replaced the tires last fall, and the car was riding butter smooth again, but now its developing some vibrations again. Its pissing me off, I think I might have bad bearings or maybe 2006 rims arent hubcentric with 2GS hubs.
The contact area between the rim and the lug nuts have a matching angle. Once all the lug nuts are torqued equally and sit tight in the holes, the wheel should be centered. Now, I've explained why I think the hubcentric rings are not needed. Why don't you explain yours instead of calling me name?.
